PWD And Nkeh Part Company

A club statement released this morning reads “PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda and Mr. Nkeh Dieudonne have parted company by mutual concern” adding both parties after discussion “agreed that an immediate change is in the best interest of the club”.

Nke Dieudonne winner of the championship in 2002 with Canon Sportif of Yaounde was appointed to replace Bep Constantine in September 2023.

Nkeh was seen saying good bye to the payers and other technical staff this morning. PWD next plays away against Les Astres of Douala and Gazelle FC of Garoua in their last remaining group matches of the first phase. The team currently sits on the 7th spot, on 20 points, three behind Bamboutos in the top four places that guarantees elite one status next season and an opportunity to fight for the championship.

Nkeh’s stay with the Abakwa Boys came to an end after two back to back defeats to Union and Aigle on match day 15 and 16.

PWD will need to win it’s next two matches if they hope take the part in the play off and pray results elsewhere go in their favour.
