
Cameroon Christian University Institute (CCUI) today held a joint matriculation and convocation ceremony at its Church Centre Campus Bamenda to admit freshmen and pass out graduates of the 8th batch.

Chaired by the Chancellor of CCUI, the Right Rev. Miki Hans Abia who doubles as the Moderator of the PCC, accompanied by the Synod Clerk , the Chancellor called on the graduating students to be ambassadors of the CCUI as they engage in the next phase of their life.

In his academic discourse, Prof. Lah Lo-oh Joseph succinctly captured the theme of the joint matriculation and graduation, “pursuing knowledge with rigor, grounded in ethical principles, and fostering leadership through responsible stewardship” as the rails to guide the incoming and outgoing students.
He prescribed four committments to the students to follow which are to cultivate curiosity by reading widely, make integrity non negotiable by following ethical guidelines, resist plagiarism, practice leadership as a service prioritizing mentoring and equitable.paericipation and aim for knowledge that serves.
The Vice Chancellor of CCUI, Dr. Kate Tande said CCUI started in 2010 but ran into challenges due to the anglophone crisis. The university institute is graduating it’s 8th batch in 15 years of existence she said. The CCUI runs satellite campuses in Limbe, Kumba and Bali she added. The school currently runs four faculties, the Institute of Philosophy and Religious and Social Studies (IMPRESS), the Institute of Science Engineering and Technology ( INSET) the Institute of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (INMEBS) and the I stitute of Art, Social and Management Sciences (INASMAS).
In all, the CCUI was matriculating over 90 students I. The different programs and at the same time passing out 27 students at the HND, bachelor and masters levels.
