
North West Regional league side Momo United FC, has appointed experienced coach Simon Mbitakang Mbeng as their head coach. The announcement was made on Friday November 28 in Bamenda, as the coach finalized his deal.
The Mbengwi based club will be making their debut in the North West Regional league for the 2025-2026 football season, after an impressive run in the 2025 Cameroon cup.

President Tembeng Samuel is nursing great ambitions of bringing Elite football to the Momo Division, and has deemed coach Simon Mbitakang as the perfect fit to pilot the project. Coach Simon Mbitakang Mbeng has a chunk of experience when it comes to football in the North West Regional.

He has previously coached the likes of Santos FC, Rainbow FC, Abi-Fall FC of Mbengwi, Metro security Lions and most recently Nso United. He is a holder of the Federal A coaching license.
