At a charged campaign rally in the Bamenda II Council Hall, Mayor Peter Chenwi called on Ntamulung residents to throw their support behind President Paul Biya ahead of the October 12, 2025 election.
Speaking as Vice President of the CPDM Mezam I B Campaign Committee, Chenwi described Biya as a tested and trusted leader, warning that turning away from him would be a costly mistake.
“We know his vision because we’ve lived it. Paul Biya is not theory — he’s practice,” Chenwi told the crowd.

In a bold move to prove the ruling party delivers, the mayor challenged locals to make a development request on the spot — promising action before December ends. In unison, residents demanded better electricity and water supply. Chenwi pledged swift intervention.
Backing the mayor, CPDM Mezam IB President Anye Matoya Clatus urged supporters to stay loyal, noting that Biya’s age only adds to the wisdom he brings to leadership.
“If we want continuity and progress, we must stand by those who’ve brought us this far,” Matoya said, Vote Biya and development will follow.
