The Quarter final pairings are complete and of the eight teams still standing, Morocco is the only African side still in the rest.

Egypt the second African side to have made it past the 16th finals surrendered a two goal lead with just 10 minutes to go to lose 3-2 to the defending world champions, Argentina.

For the quarter finals pairings;

So far Europe counts eight teams at this stage with Only Morocco (Africa) and Argentina (South America) standing on the part of Europe claiming the converted prize.
