The 3rd edition of the Santa Youth Holiday Championship sponsored by prominent sport promoter Chi Chindo Metterrand will kickoff on Sunday July 12, 2026 at the Santa Community Field with China Town FC to take on Spartacus FC
Nji Nelson Chefor, President of the Organising Committee at a preparatory meeting with club representative in Santa today said the tournament is out to occupy and entertain the youths of Santa during the holiday period and to spot and promote young talents.
The 3rd edition he announced has seen major improvement with handball in faminine and male categories added and feminine football as well.
The promoter he added in this 3rd edition has launch the digging of two boreholes at Barrack Santa and at Housa quarter to be finish before end of tournament as a way of to involving members of the community like mothers and fathers who cannot participate.
A cash prize of 2.5 million frs will be handed out to the teams at the end of the championship besides individual honours.
The organising committee chair emphasized the need for discipline by every participating team to ensure a free and hitch free tournament.
The Secretary of the Organising committee Mr Marshal Ngwashi briefly reviewed the successes and challenges of the 2nd edition. He called for the need of proper comportment to ensure and maintained peace, understanding, avoid misinformation and fake news and the need for respect for all especially the elders.
The meeting ended with the draws of the group phase with the following teams drawn as follows

In handball six teams had registered with the room opened still the weekend for any interested team to register
