One of the youths of Bambili speaking on condition of anonymity said they took to the streets as a last resort to make their voices heard after making their grievances known to the regional administration over the piece of disputed land
The disputed land is located close to the Bamenda réserves industrial zone (MAGZI) and both Bambili and Nkwen claim ownership over it. The land has mostly been settled on by residents from Banso.
