A commercial bike rider was crushed to his death this morning at the Hospital Round by a tipper truck.
Eye witnesses say the accident happened around 8 am this morning on the stretch of road after hospital Round About, leading towards Azire New Church. This was during the morning rush hour when commuters were jostling to work.
The Hospital Round About is a particularly busy part of town through out the day with vehicles loading towards Mbengwi, and greater Momo, Nsongwaz Chomba, Mbatu Bali, Penyin, Batibo, Widikum, Made, Kumba and Nigeria. The roads bere are very narrow leading to traffic congestion.
The area is also a junction leading to several primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.
