On September 8, 2024, a young man identified as T-Pain was shot during a violent shootout in Mile 90, Bamenda. The incident, which lasted approximately 20 minutes, occurred in a neighborhood already grappling with rising tensions and violence.
Residents only discovered T-Pain after the shooting had ceased, prompting immediate concern and calls for help.
T-Pain was reportedly a close friend of Pancho, another victim of violence who was shot in Mbatu just a week prior.
The connection between the two incidents has sparked speculation in the community about the motives behind the shootings. As of now, it remains unclear whether T-Pain was a targeted victim or caught in a crossfire.
