Heavy gunshots in the Ntarikon neighbourhood in Bamenda has sent many residents rushing scalter for cover. A township taxi was set ablaze in the mayhem. It’s not clear the reason behind the said action by alleged separatist fighters that occured around 3 pm this afternoon.
The owner of the burnt taxi was rushed to the scene of the incident in deep frustration lamenting, “the taxi was my only source of income, how do I feed my children”

Seeing the pathetic situation of the taxi owner, onlookers and sympathizers immediately came to his rescue and launched a freewill donation to help lessen the burden of the victim.

Arm forces arrived the scene of the incident over 40 minutes after the gunmen has gone.
