Security forces in Tatum, Bui Division have seized a truck load of Marijuana in the early hours of today. The vehicle and the cargo have been impounded as investigations continue. The truck was on its way to Bamenda.
Bui division is the epicentre of marijuana production in the Northwest Region. Hundred of kilograms of the drug are transported weekly to other parts of the country like Bamenda, Douala, Yaounde and other major consumption areas. It’s usually transported in bags disguised along other goods like potatoes, yams, garri, huckleberry and wood.
