The Christian Men Fellowship in Mezam South Presbytery held its 2024 Zonal Come together on Sunday June 16, 2024 in three centres. PC Azire for Zone A, PC Akumalah for Zone B and PC Ngongham for Zone C.
The vibrant men of faith in Zone A congregated at Presbyterian church Azire as early as 7:00 am to participate in bible quiz and braintrust before a church service.
Rev. Mrs Uso Theresia, Presbytery Secretary for Mezam South in her homely called on the men of the CMF to be constantly on the alert. She caution them to keep awake always and be of exemplary character both in their homes, the church and the world.
The celebrations observed under the theme “Be on the alert and pray always” brought together seven groups including CMF Azire, Abangoh, Chomba, PSS Mankon, Nsongwa and Ndah Mbatu that make up Zone A.
The activities of their come together took place under the watchful eyes of the Moderator’s Representative for North West Rev Dr. Fai Micheal.
Given the fact the come together is an évaluation of the preparedness of the CMF ahead of the up coming national rally in December, the PS of Mezam South said the readiness of the groups was positive.
The newly elected Zonal executive of the Zone were dedicated during the church service. Bro. Nana Wilson, the Zonal Coordinator for Zone A saw their election as trust in the experience members to lead theovent forward.
The event provided an opportunity for the zone to raise money towards its evangelistic mission. Earlier an evangelistic procession from different parts of Azure into the church yard was held.The occasion ended with feasting and dancing.
