Two gendarmes are reported killed and others injured in what appears was on ambush on a control post in the town of Fundong, Boyo Division on Saturday December 6, 2025.
Separatist fighters loyal to the Amazonia cause are suspected to have carried out the attack but are yet to officially claim it. This comes barely days after two others were killed in Nkwen-Bamenda. Images of the attack obtained by City Web are too gruesome for public view.
