PWD of Bamenda today earned a precious away victory against current pool A leaders Dynamo of Douala with a player down
Mael Dindjeke was shown a fuititious second yellow by referee Vito Jeannot Franck at the 56th minute for simulation, forcing the Bamenda outfit to play with a man down for thr rest of the match .
Goals by Giles Fritz Bongaman in the 23rd and Nyame Rodrique through a wonderful thunderbolt at the 65th minutes were enough for the Bamenda outfit to exact a perfect revenge against Dynamo.
Dynamo had pulled tally in the first half from a Tony Ashu own goal just before the recess.
Dynamo beat PWD 2-0 in the away leg in Bafoussam and we’re so confident of a victory this afternoon against a PWD side that was fighting to make it into the top four of Pool A.
Dynamo currently leads Pool A with 24 points ahead of Canon of Yaoundé 23 points, Bamboutos of Mbouda 22 points and PWD on 19 points.
Hotly in pursuit aof the 5th position is Gazelle FC of Garoua on 18 points and a resurgent Aigle of the Menoua on 15 points after 13 matches played.
PWD of. Amends next confront AS Fortuna of Yaoundé for the 15th day of Play on Sunday. A win for the Bamenda outfit will consolidate it’s place as contender for the play off.
