The main building housing the hotel section of Vatican Express Agency in Bamenda caught flames early this morning.
Eye witnesses said the flame may have resulted from an electric short circuit on the top floor of the building. The flames quickly spread across the floor engulfing the entire roof.
The ground floor that houses the ticketing, mails and storage rooms and the second floor where the bar and restaurants are found were largely spared by The raging flames. The upper floor that was destroyed by the fire houses the lodging section of the building.
