Cameroon U20 Lions have been eliminated from the UNIFFAC competition at the semi finals by the DRC Congo 4:3 after post match penalty kicks.
Both teams ended regulation time one goal on either side.
The U20 Lions failed to qualify for the U20 AFCON for the second consecutive year running. This also means Cameron will not participate in the next U20 World Cup
The result is a big disappointment for one of Bamenda’s most promising talent, Ning Che Bong Kadad who has been impressive during the competition, conceding just two goals in three matches.
Qualification for the U20 AFCON was top priority for Cameroon and Ning Che but their dream was stop short by the Congolese who pick one of the two spots open to the UNIFFAC zone.
