Transfers: Bafmeng United Appoints Anumewa Frankline

North West based Elite 2 side Bafmeng United, has appointed Frankline Anumewa as their new head coach.

The club confirmed on Wednesday evening that the tactician has put pen to paper for a one season deal, with an option to extend for a further season.

The experienced gaffer, who spent last season with PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda, and helped the team survive relegation, left the Abakwa Boys at the end of the Sea, with the club officially confirming his departure on Tuesday.

Now he has opened a new chapter in his coaching career, as he takes over a Bafmeng United side that is setting objectives to qualify for the Elite one championship.

The 36-year-old coach has previously helped qualify Foncha street FC and Rangers of Bafut to the elite 2 championship, but is yet to make his mark in the top tier. He comes in with a lot of experience, after stints at Yong Sports Academy and most recently PWD of Bamenda.

Bafmeng United has been without a coach, since Nkabyo Martin stepped down during the playoffs in the Elite 2 championship, in April 2024.
