Anglophone crisis: Murdered sports Journalist one year after in Bamenda .
Anye Nde Nsoh has been remembered in Bamenda, one year after he was shot dead as a result of the ongoing Anglophone crisis in Cameroon.
Colleagues, friends, and well wishers created awareness from Ntarinkon to Mankon village in a speeding convoy of bikes with loud horn sounds as they remembered the sports journalist.
Relatives to the late journalist burst into tears as they saw the convoy approach their compound where he was buried. The family say their hearts remain heavy as the tragic passing away remains a painful lost the family.
Friends and colleagues also lamented, as they shared good memories of Anye.
Nde Nsoh was died from a gunshot wound on May 7th 2023, around a popular bar at Che Street, Ntarikon neighbourgood Bamenda as he returned from buying batteries for a microphone he intended to use that night.
Its still to be established whether he was murdered or was hit by a stray bullet. No official investigation has been open yet and the authorities seem to have closed the file.
